What this site collects, and what it does not
XergioAleX.com is a static personal site. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no cross-site tracking. This page lists every place data is handled, so you can verify it rather than take my word for it.

Analytics
Page views are measured with Umami Cloud, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics service. It records aggregate page views, referrers, country, browser and device type — no cookies, no fingerprinting, no cross-site profile, and no data that identifies you personally. Visits from AI crawlers are counted the same way, server-side, so I can see which agents read the site.
Contact and newsletter forms
The contact form and the newsletter form submit to Google Forms. What you type — your name, email address, and message — is stored in that Google Form and used only to reply to you or to send the newsletter you asked for. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone else. If you would rather not use the form, email me directly.
What is stored in your browser
Two things, both local to your device and never sent anywhere: your light or dark theme preference, and a flag remembering that you already subscribed to the newsletter so the form stops asking. Clearing your browser storage removes both.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the IP address and request headers needed to deliver a page and to protect the site from abuse. I do not keep server logs of my own.
Embedded content
Some articles and slide decks embed content from third parties such as YouTube or SpeakerDeck. When a page with an embed loads, that provider receives the request and applies its own privacy policy. Pages without embeds contact no third party other than the analytics endpoint.
